Director
BEN STEINBAUER is a writer/director who made his feature directing debut with the award-winning comedy documentary, Winnebago Man, which was released theatrically in 2010. Michael Moore called it “One of the funniest documentaries ever made!” and Roger Ebert named it one of his favorite documentaries of 2010.
Steinbauer was named by Texas Monthly as one of Texas’ directors to watch, holds a masters degree from the University of Texas and is the recipient of the Princess Grace Foundation Award for Filmmaking.
Director
BERNDT MADER is an Emmy Award winning writer/director whose debut feature, 5 Time Champion, premiered at the 2011 SXSW Film Festival. The film was given the Panavision New Filmmaker Award and was released by Warner Bros. in 2012. Also in 2012, Berndt co-produced David Gordon Green’s feature Prince Avalanche starring Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch. The film had its world premiere at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival.
Berndt won a 2012 Emmy Award for Directing on The Bear’s collaboration with Riverstreet Productions for The Disney Channel. He is co-owner of The Bear and holds an MFA from the University of Texas at Austin.
Production Coordinator
A native Austinite, SEANA FLANAGAN has been in commercial production since graduating from film school at the University of Texas. Seana got her start in post production at 1080, Inc before moving to the production side, associate producing Bob Byington’s “Somebody Up There Likes Me”, which premiered at SXSW in 2012. She’s also worked as a production coordinator for David Gordon Green’s Prince Avalanche, premiering at Sundance 2013, as well as his newest project Joe, starring Nicolas Cage.
Executive Producer
LINDSAY STILLMAN got her start in production as an Assistant Producer on the documentary, Girl Wrestler, directed by Diane Zander (PBS’ Independent Lens in 2004). She was a Senior Producer at GDS&M producing commercials for Southwest Airlines, AT&T, The United States Air Force, L.L.Bean, and Kohler. While at GSD&M, she was also an Associate Producer on the documentary, Crawford, which premiered at SXSW in 2010. Recently, Lindsay helped Karen Jacobs and company build Greatest Common Factory while working with clients Golfsmith and Nike.
