Winnebago Man’s US broadcaster, EPIX, recently interviewed Jack and Ben at Rebney’s mountain hermitage. This was more people than Jack had ever had in the cabin at one time. Buddha was over-joyed!
The Bear made a surprise appearance behind home plate at the Ranger’s game on Tuesday night. Shortly afterward Josh Hamilton hit a home run. Coincidence? We don’t think so. Thanks to Courtney and Lisa for BEARing with us.
The Bear teamed up with Riverstreet Productions to shoot a bumper for the Disney Channel. We met the wonderful Williams family and ate our way across West Texas. Thanks to the Sleeve, David Blue, Sergeant Pedersen and Flanagan the Managan.

Our scene is playing before the original Slacker film on the 17th. In attendance will be original cast member Jerry Deloney, as well as Chris Doubek and Maggie Lea from our 2011 cast. The Bear teamed up with the good folks at Sherry Matthews, Coloring Book and freelance producer extraordinaire, Aurora Reyes, on the Power 2 Wait campaign for the State of Texas. We filmed with teens in Austin, Dallas, McAllen and Lubbock over the course of 2 weeks. Thanks to Dandi for the tour of Lubbock, Martin Pedersen for the sweet sounds and David McMurry for the eagle eye.
The Bear was asked to contribute scenes to the Austin Film Society’s remake of Richard Linklater’s seminal film, Slacker. Slacker 2011 will premiere on August 31st at the Paramount Theater.
